About Me

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my Blog!  New Year’s Resolutions almost always start with going to the gym to lose weight, but on December 30th, as I reflected on my 2015, I realised I hadn’t taken enough time to pursue what I really love – ART! (I should definitely hit the gym too though…)

So here I am – Jess, a 19 year old Neuroscience student living in London, trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. I’ve always known that I’m happiest when helping others and when I’m creating things, so I decided to combine the two. I’ll make some art, and hopefully, it will inspire some of you guys (struggling or not) to find happiness 🙂

Friends, family, and myself included, have all suffered from depression. It’s something that can make you feel alone, even if you have an abundance of love and support. Many people overcome the struggles by making lifestyle changes, such as exercising more or stopping smoking, but personally, whenever I was feeling particularly low or alone, I would turn to my sketchbook and draw. Maybe the same will work for some of you!

Anyway, enough about me, the rest is definitely about you! Hopefully you guys find something here that will inspire you to make the first steps to recovery, to discover a new passion, or to just make some really cool art.
